I've always been what used to be known as a "belt & braces" man, in other words I've always tried to see that I always had backup of info I've posted on the internet and, more importantly, when dealing with the BBC
With that in mind, what follows are all the articles I posted on the BBC site between October 2003 and January 2006, with a description of any image posted to head the article.

My late father served with the 4th Queens Own Hussars from April 1944 through to after hostilities. In the group photo taken at Ferndorf, he is the "George". Is it possible to have a recommendation of where best to post excerpts from my father's written records of his time in the British Army?
Hi !
Without even having to think about it, I would recommend posting his memoirs on ww2talk.com
I am a long standing member of that site, posting under my own name and will be glad to help you once you are a member.
My own memoirs are also availble at the Imperial War Museum
Best regards
Ron
